You are awoken by the hoarse scream of a fog horn, you glance through the porthole to see the ominous beam of a lighthouse fill the dark and murky sea. You can barely make sight of land as you pull into the dock. The journey has taken an indiscernible amount of time with a blurred and dim route. As the boat docks, you notice a sign saying “Port of Innsmouth” the fog is thick, menacing and snags the expanse like tentacles. The air smells damp and decaying. As you step onto the dock, you see a vast huddle of sagging gambrel roofs, many of which have caved in. Three looming steeples create a stark and jarring horizon. Other passengers start to disembark and join you on the dock, you extend a tentative but unyielding hand and introduce yourself...
On The Border Of Innsmouth is a one page role playing game based around lovecraftian terrors in the town of Innsmouth.
Players will sacrifice their sanity in an attempt to escape the horrors that await them.
