Alone on Familiar Roads is a solo journalling game about returning to the neighbourhood where you grew up and finding your way home in the dark. To play this game you will need a standard set of polyhedral dice — d4, d6, d8, d10, d12, d20, and d100 — and somewhere to make a record of your journey.
This game is a hack of Takuma Okada’s Alone games, and was written for #PolyhedralsJam. In the spirit of these inspirations, Alone on Familiar Roads combines the introspectiveness of a trip down memory lane made literal with the high stakes of an old-school dice rolling survival game, set amongst the eerie atmosphere of suburbia late at night.
The playbook is available in PDF and plain text formats. It costs $1 USD, or you can grab a community copy below.
