In Astral Ascension, the Gods are real and ruled the universe for countless millenia, while behaving in ways that the intelligent races they had created often considered overbearing. It was because of this behavior that Humanity, along with a number of other races rebelled against the Gods, preferring to carve their own path to the future, free of the Gods’ meddling. This setting supports both long campaigns and short one-shots.
Astral Ascension’s unique dice system allows for interesting interactions both in and out of combat. This, along with the Astral Number system allows players to take control of their own fate.
