You and your 1 to 4 fellow players are a few of the traders, travelers, and pirates who sail skyships across a magical and dangerous world. You are all landed, for the moment, sitting in a tavern together and reflecting on your many adventures. To play this game, you will share brief tales of your travels with each other - their honesty and clarity may vary wildly, but all tales are told with feeling.
This game is based on Call of the Sky, the main theme song of of the actual play podcast Campaign: Skyjacks, and draws many ideas from the game’s setting (which itself draws on the music of The Decemberists and the card game Illimat, as well as on multiple folkloric sources and ideas from the cast of the show). You do not have to have listened to/read/engaged with any of these pieces of art in order to play this game!
