A seabird is a kind of bird. A seabird is also the incarnated soul of a dead individual, traditionally a sailor. The space between these two concepts is what you get to explore in this game. Set sail on cars in crowded streets, feast upon the trash generously laid out by unthinking humans. Cheat, steal, fight and argue, and now and again reminisce about the past that slowly fades behind you. Let the sea envelop you and embrace transfiguration. Be the most bird you can be, and forget about the rest.
We Became Seabirds requires no GM, can hold 6 or more players, and takes anywhere up to 4 or 5 hours of your time. Designed after the template of Mobile Frame Zero: Firebrands, it features 10 minigames that birds can engage in, concentrated on themes of adventure, solitude, surrealism and complicated togetherness. In the end, it is an exercise in embodying what people sometimes hope a bird can be, and how a bird might live a life absent any genuine purpose.
