this game was created primarily for the bot collab jam hosted by natalie libre in 2020, which has happened to occur during the covid-19 pandemic. it was inspired by the twitter robot @threat_update by @dullthud, which randomly generates threat levels that measure existential crises based on colors. @threat_update’s posts resonated with me given that the pandemic was causing people all over the world to reevaluate their states of existence, especially under the politics of healthcare.
