HATCHLING is a solo journaling RPG where you play as a freshly hatched sea turtle in a dark and confusing world beyond your comprehension and full of danger and new experiences. Safety is the ocean, but your chances of getting there are slim to none.
You push hard and a crack opens before your eyes. There’s something out there! You heave and push, working your muscles properly for the first time, and after minutes of struggling and cracking away at the shell, you burst free of your egg and onto the ground. You’ve successfully hatched!
You’ve never been there before, but you can feel in your bones that you need to get to the ocean. But… Where is it? What is this place? Lights! Scratchy ground!So very hungry...A strange sound!
