Parliament of Knives is a text-based social roleplaying game of alliances and intrigue designed to be played over forums or chat apps like Discord or Slack! In the game, ideally 15-30 players are set up to play members of a Grand Parliament in a fantastical world. They form factions, leave factions, make deals, break deals, and even kill or be killed in their pursuit of getting the necessary votes they need to further their goals and maximize their prestige. It's designed to be fun and safe, to allow for scheming and rivalries without devolving into hurt feelings and unnecessary upset.
This is my first attempt at designing something meant to be played over text/chat. So I haven't released it as a PDF. The rules are just available for free as a web page that you can reference. You don't need to use Itch - it's mostly to collect donations and to house all my designs in one place. You can see the rules on my website for free.This game is currently still in development.
