A place known to weary travelers big and small, rich and poor. But not for its prestige, not for its great drinks and definitely not for its peaceful atmosphere. Tonight, strangers enter with ill intent and the one thing that stands between them and the downfall of the inn is the barkeep.

This game is an entry into the Game Dunk Online 2020, where the theme is "An Unexpected Alliance". In this game, players will both ally with each other (except for one) and an ever changing cast of NPCs to execute the downfall of inn or its survival. This game also uses the "Asymmetric Gameplay" prompt - one player is the barkeep - a pseudo-narrator whose aims is to manipulate NPCs such that the inn survives with a very different set of methods of doing so.
My intent was to design a game which can deliver story telling prompts and be accessible to new role-players with the results while still having a competitive element to it. I am not sure how accessible it actually is, but the primary mechanic works around Texas Hold'Em and as such only needs a pack of cards (1d6 is also nice, but if you really want to, just pick an option). This game is designed to be somewhat unbalanced in favor of the tavern keeper, but
