The RPG Pipeline was a posting board to keep track of upcoming tabletop rpgs from 2015 to 2021 (this Blogger version began in 2019). It covered new English language ttrpgs and ttrpgs going into crowdfunding.

What's So Cool About Living in a Magic City? [Free]

What's So Cool About Living in a Magic City? [Free]:

Made for the WSCA Jam.

An original game building off What's So Cool About Outer Space.

Includes all the normal rpg stuff (character creation procedure, rules of play, GM advice) PLUS random tables for determining what's going on (and why it's up to the PCs to fix it), detailing the part of the city you're in, and 3 different NPC tables (for Regular Folk, the Upper Crust, and the Criminal Underbelly).

All in 6 pages!

Available in two formats - For Screen (for looking at it on your screen) or For Print (for printing out double sided, folding over and stapling to make a zine).

If you liked this, consider staying tuned for my game-in-progess, City Of Small Magics! It's very different - much longer, diceless, GMless and slice of life - but has a very similar setting. Most of the stuff in the random tables here is stuff I wrote for that game.
In order to download this game you must purchase it at or above the minimum price of $5 USD. You will get access to the following files:
Support this game at or above a special price point to receive something exclusive.

You can grab a free copy of the game here. Don't feel too bad, I had most of this stuff written already. The price was only so high to make up for the steep tax.
