CRYPTID: A Game of Small Town Monsters [$4.95]

CRYPTID: A Game of Small Town Monsters [$4.95]:

A collaborative storytelling game about our home towns and the monsters that haunt them.

CRYPTID is a game for 3-6 players. In CRYPTID, the players take turns being the monster that lives on the edge of a small town. Using assumption, deduction, and breathless eyewitness accounts, the witnesses share what they know (or think they know) about the Cryptid, which guides the next player’s portrayal of this mysterious being.

Includes:

  • Rules to make your very own small town, from the lonesome mountains to the dying tourist industry
  • Cryptid generation tables, to answer questions like “What was that noise?” and “Why is that ghost woman screaming?”
  • Easy-to-use mechanics for the encounters and beyond!
CRYPTID was designed for Folklore Jam 2020, because our monsters are part of where we come from.
In order to download this game you must purchase it at or above the minimum price of $4.95 USD. You will get access to the following files:
