My Dearest Colleague is a game in which two friends write letters to each other. Each writer takes on the persona of a fictional character, describing the imaginary events that comprise and surround their life. Players receive writing prompts via playing cards sent with their letters, and track the status of their fictional endeavors until the game ends. A game of My Dearest Colleague may last anywhere from a month to a year—it is a slow paced, meditative pastime.
