This game is a simple and quick mashup of several ideas I've had floating around for a while. I wanted to capture the feeling of doing a mission or run in The Sprawl or Shadowrun. I also sought to make a malleable testing roll that simplifies itself down to a single roll, with a couple of possible checks on the math. It's my hope that this scratches the itch of playing in those larger cyberpunk settings and systems, but with a 5-minute startup time.
I also have some pretty insane problems with corporate authority, and this helped exorcise some of those demons. Many thanks to PbtA, 2d20, Lasers & Feelings, Misspent Youth, and many others for the inspiration to continue in this medium.
