BE FAE DO CRIMES [$15.00]

BE FAE DO CRIMES [$15.00]:

Players: 3-5
Time: 3-4 hours
System: GM-less storytelling & coin flip mechanics

You are a ragtag team of mischievous faeries, bent on filling the world with chaos, hindering your rivals, heisting some fancy treasure, and having as much nonsensical fun as possible along the way. Your bonds will flow from partners to rivals and back; your relationships are as finicky as your attention span. You always take the most outrageous and dramatic action possible to achieve your goals.

BE FAE DO CRIMES is a GM-less, collaborative storytelling game about being fae, doing crimes. Players build the world and tell the story together, taking turns to introduce and control obstacles. You and your friends play as a crew of faerie criminals, flipping coins to measure your success as you vandalize Seelie corporate buildings, topple monuments in the Mortal Realm, orchestrate elaborate heists through Unseelie goblin markets, and generally dismantle authority, capitalism, the patriarchy (and so on) with absolute abandon. But take care--a Shadow is watching your group and they want nothing more than to steal your truenames to power their own terrible plans…

TTRPG inspiration: Under Hollow Hills and Mobile Frame Zero: Firebrands by Meguey Baker & D. Vincent Baker, Delver by Natalie the Knife, Fall of Magic by Ross Cowman, Fiasco by Jason Morningstar, and Follow by Ben Robbins.

Aesthetic touchstones: Brian Froud’s faerie art, Charles de Lint’s Newford books, Studio Ghibli’s Spirited Away and Howl’s Moving Castle, and Celtic Mythology
