And so so Much more!!!
This is the first draft for my game History Heist! Where you play time-travellers on the pursuit of stolen riches! The system is WSCA with a warped version of Blades in the Dark's Stress and Trauma system to represent time-travel-created Anomalies and Paradoxes. The main inspirations as far as tone and genre are Time Bandits, Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure, and Tales From The Floating Vagabond.
It is a first draft, but a complete one, featuring:
- Character creation and some pregenerated characters.
- An action resolution system that incentives greed and allows you to get your future self to help or rescue you.
- Rules for time travel and the consequences of continual meddling with the fabric of reality.
- A players' and GM's guide.
- A pair of random tables to help you find out what the plan is for your next heist is - and who's in your way
- An optional rule for learning new Skills
- Lists of possible bits of gear, to help with kitting out your characters.
- Four black-and-white public domain illustrations, including an old lady feeding baby clocks to baby crocodiles.
