The Haunted Roadside Diner [$2.00]

The Haunted Roadside Diner [$2.00]:

Everyone's heard at least one piece of urban folklore - the sharp bend in the road, the things that hide in the endless cornfields, the haunted bridges, the phantom hitchhikers.

The Haunted Roadside Diner is about when the urban legend becomes horribly and uncomfortably adjacent. When the audience of a good old spooky story realises that what was propping up the entertainment value is the cheery reassurance that it won't happen to them.

It is a GM-less TTRPG for 2-5 players in which you play a group of urban legend enthusiasts driving along a desolate stretch of highway in search of some supernatural excitement or uncanny anomaly.

Will it ends in a cautionary tale about hubris? A vignette about humanity's brush with the unknowable? It is up to you.

You need a deck of cards, a six-sided die, and a group of people interested in telling a horror story.

Inspired by Remembrance by Nakade, Sleepaway by Jay Dragon, the Ghost Roads series by Seanan McGuire, and Kanesha Bryant's haunted roadside diner artwork.

I hope this game sparks lots of weird and varied urban legend horror stories. The sort of campfire tales that send a chill down your spine.
