This is a quickstart for Tender Hearts which is a tabletop roleplaying game based on John Harper’s Blades in the Dark about the characters' bonds with each other and the wild slime herds they protect and shear for resources. In this quickstart you'll create two characters that are able to transform into stylish clothing, magical totems or fierce weapons and swap between each character depending on the situation. Your characters live in the lovely seaside town of Trémouth which is surrounded by a dense forest. Usually a river with a strong current flows through town but recently it has completely dried up. This has left your elders in a panic.
