Androids, trolls, and the unliving grind out their time in menial roles, constrained by myriad arcane restrictions on their movement, speech, and behavior. Unlicensed witches are subject to burning, and a witch registration is very expensive to get. The only real freedom is the anonymity of the net, but even there Govcorp dominates with advertising and intrusive tracking. You're always just one step ahead of them, you think. But it's hard to be sure. Are they just waiting to trip you up?
