In Dino-World, the Altrons are a peaceful group at threat from the violent and oppressive Reptoids. After being forced into a firefight by the Reptoids, the Altron spaceship was flung back through time by its malfunctioning Jump Drive.
The Reptoids were also accidentally dragged back through time. Led by an evil frog lord, they want to destroy the Altrons and use the Jump Drive to get back home.
You play the Altrons: now in the age of dinosaurs, and gathered together to build a community in a new world.
You communicate with the dinosaurs and befriend them using Mind-Comms. You and the dinosaurs have mutual respect for each other. The Reptoids brainwash and control the dinosaurs using technological devices called Brain-Clamps.

Dino-World is a tabletop role-playing game inspired by Dino-Riders, a toy line and cartoon from the 1980s. The game is a collision of Escape from Dino Island and Wanderhome, with a sprinkle of extra sci-fi and a smidgen of Beast Wars.
