Dungeon Crawlers is powered by the Action Tales! rules, the system behind Neon City Overdrive, and in just two pages of really tiny writing provides everything you would expect a much longer game to have including:
- Character creation with 18 classic fantasy trademarks
- Quick action resolution and deadly combat
- Freeform magic rules that let characters make up their spells on the spot
- Plus advancement rules, equipment, a brief guide for GM's and 17 example threats to overcome
