Folkmoore is a small coastal town where things don’t change much. It will always be home, whether you fled it as a young adult, or built a house there in your forties.
No one ends up in folkmoore coincidentally. The town wraps its invisible strings around people drawing them together, and then severs the connections quickly and painfully, as only a small town community can. Sometimes there is closure, often there is grief.
This game deals with belonging and rejection. The town might stay the same but the people don’t. But no matter what your heart beats for underneath your coat, nothing cuts to the bone like home. This might mean cottagecore nostalgia, or heteronormative-gothic horror, or any mix of complicated feelings.
