Never heard of LAFFS? You're not alone. I published this anniversary edition just to celebrate finding some old files on a backup disk.
But it does, without a doubt, happen to be the most entertaining game I ever created. (Based on hours played and laughs per minute.)
It's great for light-hearted or completely wacky adventures for all ages. I played it with my high school students for years and it was the basis of fun games I ran at home for my own kids. In this updated version you'll find:
- The dead simple system that allows you to role play exciting adventures in any setting, using only a 20-sided die, paper and pencils
- Character creation rules that make characters with a mix of randomness and silly characteristics
- Tables for random effects when characters are dazed or they fail their attacks
- Adventure starters and a bonus table to generate random ones
- Optional rules and tips to run the game successfully
