From the greatest cities to the smallest hamlets, from our mines below the ground to our ships sailing the skies, we have grown used to magic. It flows through everything we create, everything that lives, from the moment that it enters this world and long after it is gone.
And now, the magic is running out.
When the River Runs Dry is a large-scale, epic fantasy game about the end of the world. The magic that has become the lifeblood of the world is drying up, and the adventurers must do what they can to survive in this world.
You can play the game as you wish; I don't have the power to stop you. However, part of the game is a shared Discord server that you may join and partake in, to play along with everybody else. Populate the world you play in with your own creations, build on what the other players have made, and watch it all crumble down in the end.
