The Middle Egyptian phrase ankh wedja seneb translates to “be alive, strong, and healthy.” You have already failed step one. Or, at least, you're certainly trying to.

Your body is weary of life, and desires to go to the West, the land of the gods and the dead. Your Ba, your innermost soul, wants you to persist, and fears what lurks after death.  One player is the Body, the other the Ba, of a single human person. In playing, you must find a way to get along, and decide whether to continue to live or to journey into death.

Content warnings for discussions of death and suicide. Based off of Middle Egyptian literary text, "The Man Who Was Weary of Life."
