You’re an egg: the symbol of rebirth or a tasty snack. You roll with a clutch of other eggs. You have 1 hit point.

You have 3 traits. Pick 3 words from the columns below.

Bird (any) Fabergé Poached
Cascarón Free-range Reptile (any)
Caviar Hard-boiled Rotten
Chocolate Hundred-Year Shod
Deviled Pickled Speckled
Easter Platypus Washi

You have 3 stats. (S)hell, (W)obble, and (L)ore. Allocate them to the numbers on a d6. Each stat must have at least one number, for example (S)hell: 6, 5 & 4 (W)obble: 3 & 2, (L)ore: 1, etc. This is your S/W/L die.

(S)hell is your callused psyche and defense mechanisms that keep your insides from spilling out. What makes you crack?

(W)obble is your unstable gravitation between merciless calamity and the sanctuary of a warm nest. What will you hatch into?

(L)ore is your folkloric power ascribed to you by the world at large. Who thinks you’re a good egg?

You have a different colored d6 with two (+) sides, (6 & 5), three (-) sides (4, 3, & 2), and one (?) side, (1). This is your +/-/? die.

Roll both your dice when there’s a conflict. The +/-/? die tells you what happens, and your S/W/L die tells you how. (S)(+) is a triumph of your (S)hell, (L)(-) means your (L)ore failed you, (W)(?) is a complication of your (W)obble, etc.

You can invoke each of your traits once per session to re-roll.

At the end of a session you can reallocate your S/W/L based on the events of that session.

PDF includes rules, egg comic, and character sheet (4 pages total)

Game requires pencils or pens, and 4d6 for each player, preferably each pair of those dice a different color. You can play the game solo or up to a full dozen.
