How to Play Far Away Land
Far Away Land uses a simple d6 mechanic where players roll a handful of six-sided dice and take the high roll. That roll is then compared with a target number or opposed roll. Bonuses and penalties can be added to increase/decrease the number of dice rolled. Optional rules allow GMs and players to expand and contract and house-rule as they see fit.

The Basic Mechanics of FAL* 3 Stats determine base scores.* Boons and Flaws add bonuses and penalties to Stat rolls.* Magic is spell-based and elegant.* Combat is fast and brutal.* Optional rules like Battle Scar can stave off death but leave PCs permanently maimed.

* Creating a PC is open, fast, and flexible. Players can create any type character they can imagine.
