Welcome to Ravensbrook. A town filled with diners, old car dealerships, average suburban problems, and supernatural horrors beyond the imagination. A rules-lite, d20, roll under ttrpg that was inspired mechanically by Electric Bastionland (Chris McDowall's glorious work), this brochure sized rules sheet is all you need to run your own 80's slasher/supernatural horror extravaganza. I wanted to leave things as open as possible for the table to build a unique version of Ravenscrest that appeals to them and their personal favorite horror genres. Monsters, NPC's, and even the town itself, is all up to you!
Ravensbrook is my love letter to the classic horror genre, inspired by my own experiences living in a small town surrounded by forests, the independent horror film I worked on with Witching Season Films, as well as the games that I play with my own friends on the weekend.
I also run a Ravenscrest actual play on TPKRoleplay's twitch/youtube channel if you want to see how it all runs! This game wouldn't have been built had it not been for that actual play and my involvement with TPKRoleplay
