What was the RPG Pipeline

The RPG Pipeline was a posting board to keep track of upcoming tabletop rpgs from 2015 to 2021 (this Blogger version began in 2019). It covered new English language ttrpgs and ttrpgs going into crowdfunding.

Edgeland / $3.99

Edgeland / $3.99: Publisher: Things I Keep

Edgeland is a cyber roleplaying hack of the Year Zero Engine. It takes those rules and reconfigures them to have player facing rolls, one roll actions and the beginning prompts for co-op or solo gaming.

It is a toolbox to build the cyber(punk/rebel/merc/hacker) setting you want but with a few set ways of forcing what it wants from you. It is fast and deadly, keeping you thinking about the dice and how much you want to risk to succeed at your mission.

Woman with cyberlimb looks out at city while in bed.

Like all games that Things I Keep releases, Edgeland is a work in progress. I'd call this game an ashcan, as in there are still a few holes in it.

This current version includes:

The Worldpath: Setting Generation Tables
The Life Path: Character generation as you develop your characters background.
Dynamic Cyber and Gear generation without list and list and lists.
A player facing and solo supporting rules modification of the Year Zero Engine.
Rules for supporting and growing the Edgeland.
