Butterfly Blue is an introspective Self-Insert OC and Monster Raising Game where you travel across a fantasy land, collecting resources and training your monster to defend you while trying to overcome your personal struggles and find a way home.
Included in this release version of the game are rules for creating your Human, a container for a few of your best Traits and one of your Struggles, the Monster that reflects the Human in caricature, as well as basic information on how to travel across the fantasy realm they find themselves in and how to defend themselves.
This game heavily assumes you'll be playing a hex-crawl sandbox campaign, though there is a section offering tips for alternative premises and game styles.
