Necromance [$9.00]

Necromance [$9.00]:

A solo game about a witch trying to bring back their dead lover through necromancy.

Your lover died a tragic death. But you’ve been studying necromancy, so you know it doesn’t have to be permanent. In fact, you know a lot of helpful resources for the ritual can be found throughout the very forest you live in, if you’re willing to brave the dangers at night. As you traverse the forest through the cards you lay out, you weave the story of you and your lover while trying to bring them back.

This game contains the obvious themes of death and grief, so take care of yourself and take a break if you ever need to. The game will always be here to come back to when you’re ready.

You will need:

  • 1 standard deck of playing cards, jokers removed
  • 2 six-sided dice (2d6)
  • A way to write, whether by pen and paper or electronically
  • A marker for your character, like a figurine, die, rose petal, or small piece of bone

This game was made for Carta Jam, Spring From the Graves Jam, and Camp NaNo Jam.
