A solitaire TTRPG system using only one d20, a pencil, and paper.

Welcome to OPOD!

One Player, One Dice, is a solo tabletop role-playing system of mechanics and narrative zines. Play by yourself, or cooperatively with a friend, using just a d20, pencil/paper, and your imagination.

Each game is a short adventure where you talk to NPCs, fight enemies, find treasure, and level up your character. The zines follow a choose-your-own-adventure narrative format to tell their stories.

There are a few different core mechanics surrounding the d20 that each zine will employ to both steer the outcome of different choices and resolve combat encounters.

Your character starts out with some basic stats, clothing, and weapons, which help you interact with the worlds and their characters. What clothing you wear, items you have, and stats you assign your character will affect the mechanics of the game.
