The players are a group of “high school students” living in a metropolitan city, who double as magical girls. They’ve been a team for a while, and thus far they’ve been successful at everything. But this time, it might be more than they can handle….
Will they burn out, or emerge victorious? What does it cost to save the world?
Kindled Souls is a tabletop RPG dice-based system about magical girls who find themselves. Inspired by the tone of Puella Magi Madoka Magica, sacrifices, losses, and possibly deaths, are to be expected. This system is intended for longer oneshots, around 4-6 hours (including character creation).
(Players: 3-6 + 1 GM)

- Magical Girl Ultimate Abilities (with fancy titles)
- 90's-magazine-style quiz as part of the character sheet
- A cute team familiar/mascot
There are four files available for download:
- Character Sheet - one needed for each player. This PDF does not come with slots for typing, so printing is preferred.
- Spread Format - view the rulebook one spread at a time. This is the recommended way to read the rules digitally, as spreads have been designed to have related information on both sides.
- Page Format - view the rulebook one page at a time
- Booklet Printing - if you so desire, the entire rulebook can be printed on 7 sheets of double-sided paper. This PDF allows you to simply print and bind the book together with staples, and the pages should be in the correct order.
While the game is complete, there may still be some balance or formatting changes in the future. The booklet is marked with the most recent update.
