Outlaws ‘N’ Owlbears takes place in a fantasy wild west that never was. Elementals bound to the hearts steam engines opened the new frontier as train tracks spread across the map. Dangerous creatures and locations dot the rugged landscapes. Sorcerers harness the primal magic and seek out a nexus to call their own. Prospectors hunt exotic materials. Bandits prey on the vulnerable for easy money. Snake oil actually works.
OnO has no classes, build the character you want by choosing talents. Mix magic, gun slinging, fighting, and social tallents to build your character.
The game contains 4 primary species to choose from, Elves, Dwarves, Humans, and Goblins. Elves have long standing ties to magic and can more easily learn its ways, Dwarves dont move fast but they are hard to slow down, Humans have a defiant will laughing in the face of death, and goblins are naturally sneaky.
The rules also have two additional advanced species Beastmen and Revenants. Beastmen are highly adaptable and capable of changing themselves while Revenants dont stay dead.
OnO is a d6 rollunder system. When you try to do something, roll a d6 trying to roll equal or under your Attribute. going Double or Nothing lets you press your luck and roll again if you failed, with worse results for failing again.
This book contains everything you need to start playing Outlaws 'N' Owlbears, including an adventure, a bestiuary, and advice for a GM.
The download included a Digital edition, a print at home Zine edition, and seperate character sheets to print and use.
