ECOPUNK: 2044 is a cybernoir RPG of political intrigue, postwar struggle, and plunging your hands into the filth to fight for a better tomorrow. This is the free PDF version of the rules, released in anticipation of the upcoming ECOPUNK Kickstarter to fund the publication of a premium PDF and hardcover version. You can follow ECOPUNK's development at: https://twitter.com/Ecopunk2044
The year is 2044. The environment is dying. The governments arrogant enough to ignore the looming crisis have fallen - amongst them the USA - and new political regimes have risen. The followers of Usmanian Socioeconomics have formed CASU in central Africa, China paws for dominance with its Infra-Imperialism, and the European Commune slides into Ecofascism. Amongst all these powers are people who can see beyond self-interest and seek to save not themselves, but all of humanity. That's where you come in.
Megastructures rise and artificial forests grow. The great beast of politics awakes from its slumber and AIs labour away in the dark. ECOPUNK: 2044 hopes to not just provide a fresh new system and setting, but also inspire environmental action in its players. Will you be passive victims-in-waiting, or emulate the characters you play and join the campaign for a liveable ecology?

This is just a PDF of word processor pages. While it contains everything you need to start playing ECOPUNK, it is ugly in the extreme. If you want a better looking version, follow our Twitter for updates and back the Kickstarter when it launches!
Not included are the setting guide 'The World of 2044', nor an index. The PDF is formatted to include a table of contents.

The PDF comes with the Character Sheet, Crew Sheet, and Hacker Sheet at the end of the document. These are also included separately.
