So you want to be a ghost hunter? Well, you’ve finally got your chance. You’ve been asked to investigate a sprawling, abandoned mansion on the outskirts of town. The manor has been vacant for as long as you can remember, and is rumored to be a hotbed of paranormal activity. Exploring it will be your ticket to rising from an unknown amateur to a respected expert in the field of paranormal investigation.
But beware! Other up-and-comers have entered the darkened rooms and halls of the mansion and, well, it didn't go well. The ones that didn’t flee in terror simply disappeared, never to be seen again. Still, you feel yourself drawn to the danger and mysteries of the house. So pack up your equipment, steel your nerves, and get ready to go toe-to-toe with whatever malevolent entities wait in the shadows!
Paranormal Encounters: Haunted Manor is a solo pen-and-paper RPG about exploring the dark hallways and rooms of an abandoned mansion and confronting supernatural activity and hostile paranormal entities that lurk inside. As a player, you will create an investigator from one of three distinct classes and explore the randomly-generated rooms and hallways of the haunted manor, collecting items as you face off against a host of hostile supernatural activities. Paranormal Encounters mixes traditional dungeon crawling and mixes it with the tense, terrifying action of survival horror.
