Above your head, a timer counts down to zero. It is unknown what happens once it ends.

smallroom shorttimer bigquestions ultimate is an experimental GM-less roleplaying game played inside a platform fighter video game such as Super Smash Bros, Nickelodeon All-Stars Brawl, or Rivals of Aether. Players use their characters as avatars to act out a Twilight Zone-esque scenario: you wake up surrounded by strangers in a mysterious room with an ominous timer. This is a rules-lite 3-page game that includes rules and a table for deciding character backstory. Game rounds take 5 minutes, plus setup and after-care.
You will need 2-8 players that all have access to the same platform fighting video game, playing together either in-person or online. Each player will need one twenty-sided die.
This game is inclusive of all races, faiths, disabilities, and sexual identities and orientations. If you would not welcome any of the above at your table, this game is explicitly not for you.
