In development since late 2019, Gone Rogue is a tabletop roleplaying game in which players take on the roles of fearless revolutionaries in a futuristic pacifist dystopia. Skilled, audacious and armed with advanced weaponry, you must enter a city unaccepting of your ideals. Your mission, to reclaim mankind’s freedom in an uncompromising battle against an army of autocratic warmachines.
Taking inspiration from games such as Blades in the Dark, X-Com, Faster than Light and many more, the main features of Gone Rogue are:
- a no-prep approach, enabling GMs to run a game with little to no prior work
- dynamic and innovative asymmetric character progression. No character levels, no experience points, and no homework to advance your character
- a deep and elegant tactical combat system, rewarding player mastery and teamwork, while requiring no optimization and complex number crunching
- a unique base management mechanic, allowing you to develop and specialize your entire squad
- a focus on shared narrative, wherein the players and the GM continuously create the setting around their characters
