It’s been an eventful festive season at the Pinetree Shopping Centre, the premier retail destination in mid-lower Stonkton (not counting the big Sainsburys or the model village gift shop). You’ve been working hard at Pinetree’s glittering Santa’s Grotto all month, and now it’s Christmas Eve. The holiday (and a nice, long lie-in) is almost here. There’s just one more day to get through first…
In Grotto, one player takes the role of the ‘Manager’, who sets the scene and guides the story. The rest of the players are the elves that staff the Grotto, dealing with children, parents and the heightened emotions of the season.
You'll need some dice (2d6, a d20, a d10 and a d12) and some index cards or paper for your characters’ ‘Resumes’. You might also want to get some Christmas crackers, especially if you expect a lot of player v player action.
