WIZARDS! with Words is a collaborative storytelling game about a group of WIZARDS! overcoming numerous obstacles with their brains, charm, and brawn, and by casting spells built from a random set of words. Choose from one of 10 WIZARD! archetypes including the Apprentice, the Muscle Wizard, and the Magical Teen. Don your hat and robe, grab your staff, and embark on an adventure!
Maybe your WIZARDS! are journeying through a classic realm of high-fantasy, or maybe they're on a mysterious planet in the far-flung future. WIZARDS! with Words can be played in any setting because how the magic works and, more importantly, what your spells do is ultimately up to you. The only limits are your imagination and the size of the random word generator you're pulling from.
What you need:
- A GM and 2-4 players
- 2-4 hours of time
- At least 2 six-sided die (recommended 2 per player)
- Pencils and printed character sheets or paper for notes
- A random word generator or included word table
