My Neighbor is a Vampire! / $6.00

My Neighbor is a Vampire! / $6.00: Publisher: Mxtress Khan

Your neighbor gets up to some weird $%@!, don't they? I don't know about you, but it makes me wanna have a sleepover and GOSSIP! I mean, why does she drink coffee out on her lawn at 2am every night? ... and is she single?

My Neighbor is a Vampire! is a social party game of gossiping about your neighbor, your REAL neighbor, inspired by 90s teen magazines and films. You and as many friends as your mom lets you have over will slam legally-distinct  Monster Caps, complete personality quizzes, and craft wild stories about vampires, aliens, and vampire aliens!Check out our Legally-Distinct Monster Caps!

For 1+ Players, 4-8 Recommended.

In My Neighbor is a Vampire!, everyone works together to sling wacky gossip. Though you start each game with a real neighbor story, it quickly turns into a collaborative effort to design a silly character. It's easy to pick up and play, including variant rules for smaller groups and for those who can't / don't want to print out the Monster Caps which uses dice instead. Though if you can, printing out the Monster Caps and gathering around a table to slam them is just plain fun.

You can even treat it as a character generator!

An excerpt of some of the surprising facts you might learn about your neighbor!

My Neighbor is a Vampire! comes as a 19-page A5 pdf, along with a printer-friendly version which uses less fonts and colors. Each version comes as both a print-ready document (single pages with bleed) and as one with  two-page spreads for easy digital viewing.

My Neighbor is a Vampire! also includes a sheet of 24 printable Monster Caps on A4 paper, as well as instructions for putting them together and using them. The Monster Caps were drawn by myself (Mxtress Khan), Sarah Carapace, Scudpuppy, TJ, and Rosalind Chapman.

A Torch in the Dark / $15.00

A Torch in the Dark / $15.00: Publisher: Not Writing Games

THE DEAD LORDS HAVE ARISEN!

The People's Revolution has overthrown the nobles of the realm and seized the Imperial capital of Kynburgh. The Emperor Titan Kyne died cursing the land and all who deposed him. Now the only coin that is left lies buried with the undead Lords who forged the Empire. Delve into the dungeon, twice-kill the dead Lords, and secure the People's Revolution!

A SINGLE-PLAYER RPG FORGED IN THE DARK

Using a single-player stream-lined variation of John Harper's Blades in the Dark rules, players can quickly generate characters with unique skills and items. As you delve you use your creativity and limited resources to overcome 100's of encounters, randomly generated from 9 unique dungeon locations. When your pack is full of broken crowns and Imperial coins you return above ground to the Imperial capital for downtime where your character can recover and resupply for their next delve.

If you succumb to your wounds you die!

If you become corrupted by diabolism and the wealth of the dungeon you die!

If your last torch burns out in the middle of the pitch black dungeon you die!

The only way to live is to kill the ghoulish nobility in their crypts, steal back their wealth, and survive to delve again. For the realm! For the people! For the Revolution!

  • Players: 1
  • Playtime: 30 minutes per session
  • Requirements: 6 six-sided dice, a deck of playing cards (jokers included) and something to write with. A character sheet and reference sheets are included with the game.

Nasty, Brutish, & Long / $8.00

Nasty, Brutish, & Long / $8.00: Publisher: Not Writing Games

Nasty, Brutish, & Long is a tabletop role-playing game about class war and revolution in your own fantastical setting. Based on the Forged in the Dark system, this rules-light game puts characters divided by class and resources front and center in a world on the brink of permanent change. Will your bastard noble defend their small town from the Church's magic-hunting inquisition? Will your character successfully organize their fellow factory workers against the foremen? Or will your merchant wheel and deal to secure themselves in a world torn apart by new Gods? Play to find out how the revolution fairs against the world!

Revolution! Has magic suddenly entered a mundane world, or do you live in a society that relies on spells and magic that no longer work? Is industry creating a wealthy and powerful middle class at the expense of exploiting workers and dangerous factories? Or does your story begin with a social revolution, hunting down the last of the nobility, or the dreary realization that the revolution is defeated? Nasty, Brutish, & Long gives you all the tools you need to make your setting about characters working to overturn or take advantage of the status quo.

Character Driven! Nasty, Brutish, & Long comes with 30 character backgrounds that help illustrate your character's history  and economic class, and give them NPC relationships and connections you can define through play. The game revolves around the player character's beliefs, drive, virtues, and vices. Play proceeds scene by scene, drive by drive as the characters try to change the world. As time passes characters lose stress, gain resources, and see the consequences of their actions play out over days, week, months, and years.

Make it Your Own! Your game of Nasty, Brutish & Long may take place at the dawn of a new world war, the end of the divine right of kings, or at just after the discovery of magic. It could have covens of witches, courts of sorcerers, or brand new unions of workers. It could be medieval, fantastical, or in the midst of industry. The game comes with everything you need to create a unique setting that puts revolution and the characters front and center.

Digital copies of the character sheet can be found here.

City of Flesh / $9.99

City of Flesh / $9.99: Publisher: Angry Hamster Publishing

Nagara is old, the city is dying, and you are the only one who can ward off the Doom.

City of Flesh is a tarot-based roleplay game where you play one of the Midwives, a person imbued with primordial energy, tasked with staving off the end of the world as you know it. Together with your fellow players and GM, you create the city of Nagara and its unique locations using a tarot deck. Each session your characters inch ever closer to a Doom they’re working tirelessly to prevent, but must inevitably face as the chronicle ends.

The game has the dark horror feeling of a dungeon crawl, while focusing on mechanics that drive in-game drama and push personal stories. You’ll get embroiled in the various wars raging between guilds in the city and try to secure a bit of personal peace, before all your efforts crumble around you. You’ll strive to survive in a city that is literally trying to eat you, and siphon off its power to keep the ones you love safe.

City of Flesh takes inspiration from grimdark fantasy combining it with a feminine aesthetic to create an immersive gore-splattered roleplay experience where you delve into the dreams of a sleeping colossus and tear through fleshy reality to make your own fate.

In print City of Flesh is a 52 page, A5 sized book. We've chosen to upload the PDF for you as spreads (A4-sized with 2 pages next to each other) so you can enjoy the various pieces of art and layout.

We've included a print and play tarot deck PDF with the corebook if you do not own a tarot deck yourself.
