Traverse [Free]:

Traverse is a tabletop role-playing game unlike any you have seen before. Set in a massive and entirely original world full of deep lore, exciting opportunity, and utter freedom, Traverse will engage your imagination and stimulate your senses.

In Traverse, you will create and portray a character in a world not only of swords and sorcery but of commerce, crafting, and anything else you and your friends can realize through imagination. You may choose to play as a crafty rogue or a roguish craftsman, a mighty warrior or a powerful mage, a manipulative bastard or a wisecracking bard. The options are limited only by your imagination.

Together with a group of friends, you will be released upon the game world to explore locations as diverse as your imagination can fathom. The world is open for you to discover. Battles will be fought of brains and brawn, friends will be gained and lost, wealth will be accrued and spent. The possibilities are endless and your imagination is the key.

Welcome to the world of Traverse. Welcome to Tarsus.

What sets Traverse apart immediately is its central mechanic: the twenty-sided die, or d20, is the only die you will ever need to play. This mechanic was designed to liberate players to focus on gameplay and world immersion and to be more accessible and intuitive. What sets Traverse apart as you play is the kinetic combat, the deep crafting system, and the unique world.

The Traverse game system has been rigorously playtested by diverse groups over a decade, but this is the first public release. If you download and play, please leave a comment below!
Thanks for downloading! Please leave a comment on the page if you have any feedback after playing.
