Capsule is a collaborative storytelling game in the format of a journal. In this game, you will write journal entries from the point of view of a character as they experience new situations and people with the help of the game’s story prompts: tarot cards.

To play this game, you will need:

• 1-4 players, including yourself
• The notebook pages included in this book (you can print these and bind them, cut out the prompts and glue them into a journal, write directly in this book - you can even record audio/video journals if you want!)
• Something to write with, if you’re keeping a physical journal
• A set of Major Arcana cards from a tarot deck (cards 0: The Fool through XXI: The World - find one with artwork you love, there’s lots out there)

Capsule tells the story of a distant space mission, one that takes off from Earth and is intended to reach its destination in one month’s time. As such, this game is intended to be played over the course of a month, though we certainly won’t stop you from playing the whole thing in one sitting if you wish.
