Spacetime is a parody storygame inspired by sci-fi cartoon series like Futurama and Final Space: the players collaborate to create episodic stories of space adventure by portraying a cast of eccentric characters who get caught in challenging situations that are often of their own making. The game mechanics are deliberately simple and focus on the problems faced by the characters in each episode, rather then on the characters’ own successes and failures, though those do still determine the pacing of the plot.
Now past its early proof-of-concept stage, the game consists of 8 playsheets for the Leads of the story, plus a Director's sheet to provide just a little bit more guidance for running the game and also to act as a simple record sheet. The game still needs extensive play testing to balance it, however, so expect further updates and revisions as time goes on.
