  1. (cryptozoology) A creature known only from folklore or legend, the existence of which is not proven by scientific observation.



CRYPTID is a mini rule set in which you are a Cryptid doing your best to save your home from development while trying to avoid complete detection by the world.

The players each take on the role of a Cryptid, a supernatural being trying to avoid drawing too much attention from the small town they inhabit. Their end goal is to strike and maintain a balance between keeping the town alive and giving themselves away.
