OmississimO is an investigative / thriller RPG, set in the country called Lisarb, a place doomed by its organizations full of dark secrets and hellish events that most citizens choose to ignore,
many for fear of accepting reality and others for being part of it.
The main characters of this story are no different, they all have dark pasts linked to institutions as bizarre as the country itself. It's up to you as a player to decide the future of this character. Should them break free and build their own path, or should they simply accept the blessing of ignorance?
It was written to be a simple RPG that can be quickly learned and played. Many commonly
known mechanisms from PbtA games here have been simplified and summarized to better focus on a narrative driven, easy and quick experience, like:
- Only 5 Basic Moves
- Only 4 Initial Playbooks.
- Every Playbook is made so it can fit in a single page.
The title is offered in CC-BY 4.0 so it can be freely expanded in terms of Moves, Playbooks and Adventures and it can be expected that we'll be releasing new Playbooks for Free on this platform but for the main title it is only necessary the 4 that are already included.
