The game contains mature themes. The game contained herein is designed to evoke a wide range of emotions, many of which can be harmful, such as fear, anger, disgust, and shame. The game’s setting implies physical violence, sex, drug use, exploitation, and emotional cruelty. There are several tools that can be used, at the same level as the other rules in this game, to help all players to have an enjoyable time. We are here to create stories together, and that can’t happen if some of the players are uncomfortable (characters being uncomfortable, however, is in-theme). We can learn everyone’s limits, and we can respect those limits.
In Our Ancient Thirst, a tabletop role-playing game, you play vampires who help people and explore the nature of their condition. It has dice pools and PbtA-style play. The game is unfinished.
