The Widow's Tale is a solo journaling game played with a deck of cards, made using the Wretched & Alone rules by Chris Bissette and Matt Sanders.
You are the widowed queen of a dying kingdom, sealed in your enchanted palace whilst the armies of your enemies lay siege to your gates. As your protective sorcery fades and the castle crumbles, you wander the empty halls and desperately attempt to research a spell which will let you send for aid.
