A Journey Between Worlds is a solo keepsake game where you play a character drawn into a fantastical adventure. Using prompts drawn from four rich fantasy worlds, you keep a daily journal recording the journey and your thoughts and feelings as you move through another world.
The game is inspired by classic diary novels such as Adrian Mole and Bridget Jones, and draws most of its content from the following fantasy series:
- The Discworld novels by Terry Pratchett- The Sandman graphic novels by Neil Gaiman- The Earthsea series by Ursula K. Leguin
- His Dark Materials by Philip Pullman
This is a submission for Leeds Libraries' Novels That Shaped Our World game jam!
Printing info: The Player Diary should be printed double-sided and with pages flipped on the short edge. When printed it should be able to be collated into an A5 booklet.
The card deck should be printed single-sided.
