Detritus: a character creation & storytelling game
You are a stranger in a strange land, and nobody remembers your name.

How To Play:1. Find a place where you are able to freely and safely interact with the environment.2. Obtain an item which used to be part of a larger whole (e.g. a leaf, broken pencil lead, one sock of a pair).3. Obtain an item that calls to you (e.g. a shiny rock, a scary movie DVD, a favored stuffed animal).4. Obtain an item that you judge completely ordinary (e.g. a pen, a stick).5. Pick the lightest item. This is your life; it is a mystery to you.6. Of the remaining 2 items, pick the larger. This is your weapon; you fear and cherish it.7. The last item is your heart. You gave it away.

8. Record your items somehow (e.g. drawing them, making imprints, writing them down). In the message area of the postcard, write the last lines of a journal entry some stranger finds after your character is gone.
