Incantator is a classic TTRPG, requiring at least 1 player to be the Aribter, and 1 or more (ideally 4-6) players to make characters, and play as those characters. This book is short in the same way that a hole to the very core of the earth may be short. Measuring width, not much to discuss, but measuring depth, well there's a conversation.
This is a game about mages, where mana is everything you own. For each power, a sacrifice. For each sacrifice, a ritual. It's swift and easy to learn, yet complex and hard to master.
At a brisk 8 pages, this game seeks to do one thing: unchain the wizard. That wizard hopefully being you. You are presented with boundless freedom to explore and toy with its simple mechanics bearing an underlying complexity, forging your own wizard path totally unique to you.
For those keen on bargains and willing to take the head of the table as Arbiter, you shall find it to be a teeming ocean of possiblities. This is a game that fits most any setting. It can be tooled to be integrated into your world, or even other games should you think it best.
